Gemscapes by Zee

A native of Tucson Arizona, gemstone artist Zee was born into a family of well-known mineral collectors. From an early age, he began the life-long process of integrating his love of minerals with his love of art.  Zee uses the inspirations of natural history to create art that glows with the colors and transparencies of precious and semi-precious gemstones.  These lighted gem panels are the culmination of his career as a prospector, miner, stone-cutter, tinkerer, gallery owner and artist.
