It gives a direct look into a formation that is usually more compact or obscured, making the structure easier to read without losing its complexity. This kind of multi-crystal growth is uncommon to begin with, and having distinct, well-defined points emerge from it adds another layer of interest.
The body shows a soft golden-green tone with internal silk that produces a lively cat’s eye effect when moved through light at the right angle. That combination of chatoyancy and unusual growth is what sets this piece apart, making it an instead highlight both as a gem crystal and as a formation specimen.
